Here is a much more readable description of the labeling requirements for consumer packaged goods

On Oct 1st, 2021 North Carolina adopted the 2017 FDA Food Code and Supplement. This means there are changes in how your Environmental Health Department conducts inspections and what they expect. The guidance that we hear is that the first inspection after the implementation date (Oct 1) will be educational and penalties won't be assessed. The attached PDF summarizes the changes.
