The renovated old school cafeteria kitchen facility offers a new commercial kitchen that is available for public use. It is an NCDA inspected and Sanitation Graded facility featuring modern kitchen equipment and cooler or dry storage space. The kitchen may be used to prepare food for personal use, retail sale or catering purposes, make value-added agricultural products, teach or take a class, host your own party or a variety of other purposes.

The Burgaw Incubator Kitchen (BIK) is a shared-use commercial kitchen facility located in the historic Burgaw Depot. BIK provides Pender County Health Department and NC Department of Agriculture approved kitchen space and equipment to specialty-food makers. This helps offset many of the start-up costs for culinary businesses.

Eastern Carolina Food Ventures Incubator Kitchen is a regional, shared-use commercial incubator kitchen designed to help develop food entrepreneurs, create new food businesses, grow existing food businesses, and provide workforce development resulting in new jobs and new economic development in eastern North Carolina. Located in the WestPark Business Technology Center in Warsaw, the kitchen is a collaborative effort of James Sprunt Community College, Duplin County, and Pender County.

The N.C. Cooperative Extension, Madison County Value Added Kitchen began in 2009 as a means to assist local food entrepreneurs an afffordable location to produce their products. Our kitchen is designed to give small food businesses access to the space, resources, and business skills they need in order to make their culinary dreams a reality. Our kitchen has become a model for other communities investigating ways to promote local food systems. Our facility offers a variety of services and equipment that are often difficult for small farms and entrepreneurs to afford on their own.

Blue Ridge Food Venture’s mission is to provide infrastructure and technical assistance to enable small businesses entering the marketplace with safe and wholesome foods and natural products, thereby assisting in the creation of new businesses, new jobs, and new revenues for the region.

WE Power Food works through collective problem solving and network development to identify resources that support all women in food businesses. The resources we discover are shared within our network. WE Power Food Partnering with service providers, local governments, community supporters and allies to build an environment that empowers women food entrepreneurs.

The Thomas Entrepreneurship Hub Incubator houses start-ups and small businesses and helps them grow through education, networking and consulting.
